Humans hunt differently

Technology detached the predator from many local limits.

Humans often remove adult animals and therefore reproductive capital. In compared systems, human exploitation rates reached up to 14 times those of other predators.

This does not make every human a morally guilty predator. It reveals an unusual ecological signature that technology and markets can scale dramatically.
